Debutant Afsal Abdul Latheef directed the film produced by Marikar Entertainments. Dinoy, who attained popularity after playing Mathew Thomas' elder brother in Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, co-wrote the screenplay of Pathrosinte Padappukal and plays the main lead.
 
Dinoy is joined by Sharafudheen, Naslen, Grace Antony and Ranjitha Menon. The cast also features Suresh Krishna, Johny Antony, James Eliya, Nandu and a host of new faces. OPM Films is distributing the film set in Ernakulam's Vypin.
 
Jayesh Mohan is the director of photography, and Jake Bejoy is the composer.
