After being postponed from its February 4 release date, Mohanlal's upcoming festive entertiner Aaraattu will now hit screens on February 18. The actor announced the news on his official Twitter handle.

Aaraattu is directed by B Unnikrishnan and penned by Udayakrishna. The film is billed as a commercial-mass entertainer in which Mohanlal plays a character named Neyyattinkara Gopan. The film's trailer was released last week, and it has garnered over 4 million views till now.

Shraddha Srinath is making her Malayalam debut with this film. Others in the cast include KGF actor Garuda Ram, Sampath Raj, Siddique, Sai Kumar, Sanjjanaa Galrani, and Surabhi Lakshmi among others.

B Unnikrishnan's frequent collaborator Shameer Muhammed is editing the film, while Vijay Ulaganath is handling the cinematography. Rahul Raj is the music director of this project.
