Alphonse Puthren-Prithviraj Sukumaran's Gold to stream on Prime Video from this date

Gold marks Alphonse Puthren's return to direction after seven long years

Gold is set to release on Prime Video on December 29, director Alphonse Puthren announced on Friday. 

The Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Gold hit the theatres on December 1. However, the film opened to underwhelming responses. Besides scripting and directing, Alphonse has also handled the film's editing, stunts, VFX, and animation. Viswajith Odukkathil and Anend C Chandran have handled the cinematography, and the music is by Rajesh Murugesan.

Gold has Nayanthara as the female lead. The cast includes Roshan Mathew, Ajmal Ameer, Lalu Alex, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinay Forrt, Shine Tom Chacko, Prem Kumar, Baburaj, Mallika Sukumaran, Shammi Thilakan, Jagadish, Deepti Sathi, and Shanti Krishna among others. Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephen's Magic Frames are jointly backing Gold.
