We had earlier reported about Naslen starring in director Girish AD's next, I Am Kathalan. The makers have wrapped up the film's shoot in Bengaluru.

I Am Kathalan is Girish AD's next after Thaneer Mathan Dinangal and Super Sharanya. Interestingly, Naslen was part of both films. Billed as a family entertainer with thriller elements, the upcoming film is scripted by actor Sajin Cherukayil. He is also playing an important role in it.

Earlier while speaking about the film with us, Sajin said, "It will be unlike anything Girish has done before in terms of style. Although it ventures into the thriller space, it's not what I would call a 'dark thriller'. It's a narrative told predominantly through humour. It packs some surprises towards the latter half."

While newcomer Anishma is the female lead, the cast also includes Dileesh Pothan, Lijomol Jose, and Vineeth Viswam. Dr Paul Varghese is backing the film. Akash Joseph Varghese is the editor, while Sharan Velayudhan handles the camera.
