Aparna Balamurali: It was a dream to work with a legendary director like Shaji Kailas

Kaapa hit the theatres on Thursday

Aparna Balamurali, last seen in Kaapa, which hit the theatres on Thursday, penned a heartfelt note extending gratitude to the cast and crew of the film.

Taking to Instagram, the actor wrote, "It was a dream to work with a legendary director like you sir. Thank you for making it happen through Kaapa. Thank you for Prameela."

She noted that she couldn't have asked for more as she got work with her all-time favourites Prithviraj Sukumaran, Asif Ali, Anna Ben and Dileesh Pothan. Further, Aparna thanked the FEFKA Writers Union. 

Penned by GR Indugopan, Kaapa is based on the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 2007, popularly known as the Kaapa act. It aims for effective prevention and control of certain anti-social activities in the State of Kerala. The technical crew includes cinematographer Jomon T John and editor Shameer Muhammed.

Meanwhile, Aparna has a slew of projects in the pipeline, including Dhoomam, Ula, Padmini, Mindiyum Paranjum, 2018 and Thankam.
