The makers of upcoming film RDX have announced that the film's shoot is set to begin tonight. Starring Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese, and Neeraj Madhav as the leads, it is directed by debutant Nahas Hidayath. A poster featuring the three actors, with arms, facing an army of people has also been shared.

Billed as an action-packed entertainer, RDX is scripted by Shabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran. The film is named after its mian characters Robert, Dony, and Xavier, which will be played by Shane Nigam, Antony, and Neeraj Madhav, respectively. Mahima Nambiar and Aima Rosmy Sebastian are the female leads. The cast also includes Lal, Baiju Santhosh, Shammi Thilakan, Maala Parvathy, and Nishant Sagar.

RDX is produced by Sophia Paul's Weekend Blockbusters. The film will be heavy on action, with the use of martial arts being an integral factor. Anbariv, known for their work in KGF, Kaithi, and Vikram, will be handling the action choreography. Sam CS is on board as the music director, while Alex J Pulickal is the director of photography. Richard Kevin (Vikram Vedha, Suzhal) is in charge of editing.
