Omar Lulu's Nalla Samayam gets a release date

Nalla Samayam, the upcoming film directed by Omar Lulu, will release on December 30, the director announced recently through his Facebook handle.

The film was supposed to hit the theatres on November 25, but the release is now pushed to December 30. Produced by Kalandoor, the film is written by Chitra with Omar Lulu. The recently released trailer features four girls on a road trip who take the lift from Saamy, played by Irshad Ali, and his friend, played by Noolunda Vijeesh. The story unfolds with a series of events that happen after they begin taking drugs at a house party.

The film also features Shalu Raheem and several newcomers. The technical crew includes cinematographer Sinu Sidharth, editor Rathin Radhakrishnan and casting director Vishakh PV. Nalla Samayam has been certified with an 'A'.

Meanwhile, Omar, known for directing films like Happy Wedding (2016), Chunkzz (2017), Oru Adaar Love (2019) and Dhamaka (2020), will be next directing Powestar starring Babu Antony and written by late screenwriter Dennis Joseph.
