The Mohanlal-starrer Ram resumed production this August after a 3-year break. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film is shot in many foreign locations. And in October, the team wrapped up the London schedule and returned to India. The makers also planned to shoot a few schedules in Morocco, Tunisia and Israel. And on Tuesday, Jeethu took to his Instagram handle to note that Mohanlal and the team are en route to Erfoud, Morocco.

The photo featured Mohanlal boarding the flight to reach the next location for the filming. Earlier, in a conversation with us, Jeethu revealed that Ram will be a realistic action film that deals with elements like drama, and family sentiments.

Produced by Ramesh P Pillai and Sudhah S Pillai, the film's technical crew includes cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, editor VS Vinayak, music composer Vishnu Shyam and production designer Prem Nawas. The film also features Trisha, Indrajith Sukumaran, Adil Hussain, Durga Krishna and Saikumar in supporting roles.

It may be noted that filming for Ram began in 2019 but was stalled in the wake of Covid-19.  Recently, speculations were doing rounds that Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph's film will release in two parts, dubbed in multiple languages and mounted as a pan-Indian film. However, the director clarified that the producers will take the final call.

The filmmaker-actor duo previously collaborated on Drishyam, its sequel Drishyam 2: The Resumption and 12th Man.
