Soubin Shahir's Djinn gets a release date

The film has been in the making for over two years

We had earlier reported about Sidharth Bharathan directing Soubin Shahir in Djinn. The film, which has been in the making for over two years, is finally gearing up to hit the screens. The makers have announced December 30 as the release date.

Billed as a psychological thriller, Djinn also stars Shanthy Balachandran, Sharafudheen, Shine Tom Chacko, Sabumon, Leona Lishoy, KPAC Lalitha, Jaffer Idukki, and Nishanth Sagar. The film is scripted by Rajesh Gopinadhan, who previously wrote the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Kali.

Djinn has music composed by Prashant Pillai and cinematography by Girish Gangadharan. Deepu Joseph is the editor.

Sidharth Bharathan's last release was Chathuram, starring Swasika Vijay and Roshan Mathew as the leads.
