The upcoming Manju Warrier-starrer Ayisha has been censored with a clean U certificate. The makers are expected to announce the release date shortly.

Ayisha is an Indo-Arab project helmed by debutant Amir Pallikkal and co-produced by Sudani From Nigeria director Zakariya. Manju Warrier plays the titular role in the film, which is billed as a family drama. Krishna Sankar and Mona essay other prominent roles. Ashif Kakkodi, who wrote Halal Love Story and the upcoming Momo In Dubai, has penned the script.

Ayisha has been shot entirely in the Middle East. Vishnu Sharma is the cinematographer, with Appu N Bhattathiri handling the editing. M Jayachandran is composing the music.

Along with Malayalam and Arabic, the makers are also planning to release it in English and other Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu.
