Vijay Yesudas is gearing up to play the lead in the directorial debut of a Class 10 student, Chinmayi Nair. Titled Class, the film, written by Anil Raj, also features Sudheer and Meenakshi as the leads. The makers launched the title during an event held for the same.

Class, billed as a friendship tale, has Vijay Yesudas playing a commando and is based on a story by Chinmayi Nair.

Produced by Sabhu Kuruvila and Prakash Kuruvila, Class has Benny Joseph handling the cinematography, with Manu Shaju as the editor.

SR Suraj is composing the music to the lyrics by Kaviprasad Gopinath, Syam Enath, and Dr Pramila Devi.
