In a heartwarming note, Dulquer Salmaan's Kurup co-star Shivajith Padmanabhan has expressed his admiration for the actor-producer for his decision to release the film in theatres and bring a large number of moviegoers back to theatres.

"DQ, you are one reason why we have celebrations back in theatres now! This has brought immense hope and happiness for the film lovers," wrote Shivajith. "Words are not enough to appreciate the courage that you have taken to make this happen as a producer and a favourite hero of the new-gen! It was a pleasure to have worked with you, and I'm really amazed by knowing the kind of person you are!"

Replying to Shivajith, Dulquer wrote, "You are this amazing talent and a wonderful human being. I have immense love for you."

Shivajith, who made his debut in Jayaraj's Veeram, has previously appeared in Prithviraj's Ranam, Tovino Thomas' Kalki, and most recently in Jayaraj's Backpackers alongside Kalidas Jayaram.
