Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13 has barely begun, but the show has already found one of its more unpredictable personalities. Filmmaker Om Prakash Rao has entered the Bigg Boss house, and going by the latest promo, he may not be the kind of contestant to hold back.
The season officially kicks off on Sunday evening, September 6, but the channel has been steadily revealing its contestants. Actress Sangeetha Bhat and Kavya Gowda have already entered the house, and the latest promo introduces Om Prakash Rao, known for his work as a director, producer and actor in Kannada cinema.
Interestingly, the filmmaker’s first interaction with host Kiccha Sudeep is less about introducing himself and more about turning the joke back on Bigg Boss.
The promo begins with Sudeep referring to Om Prakash Rao’s viral moments, including a video of the filmmaker repeatedly scratching his head. “Some people come and go without you even realising it. It is like a T20 match,” Sudeep says, before playing the clip.
Om Prakash Rao, however, has his own explanation. He says that even a small problem can unsettle him and that scratching his head gives him a sense of relief. Sudeep quickly turns that into a prediction, suggesting that viewers can expect plenty of head-scratching during their Saturday conversations.
But the bigger tease comes when Sudeep asks how many beeps might be required once Om Prakash Rao enters the house. His reply is characteristically blunt: “That depends on whoever puts them in.”
It is the kind of exchange that has already got viewers talking, particularly because Om Prakash Rao has never been known for filtering his opinions.
Interestingly, former Bigg Boss contestant Pratham had earlier hinted that an unexpected and “strange character” would be entering the house, someone viewers may not even guess. With the new promo, many have connected that clue to Om Prakash Rao.
With his outspoken personality and decades of experience in Kannada cinema, Om Prakash Rao could bring a very different energy to Season 13. Whether that translates into entertainment, confrontation or both is something the house will reveal.
