Yash says Ranbir Kapoor fully surrendered himself to Lord Rama, lauds Sai Pallavi’s devotion

Here is what Yash said about his Ramayana co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi

A Sharadhaa

Yash showered praise on his co-star Ranbir Kapoor, commending his patience and dedication in bringing Maryada Purushottam Rama to life on screen for Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Watching his co-star work on set, Yash shared, "Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most honest, hardworking, and humble actors I have ever met. As an actor, I have seen him completely surrender himself to the character. It is very difficult for someone to maintain that kind of focus and stillness. For that sheer dedication, God will bless him."

Yash noted that playing divine figures requires setting ego aside: "None of us can stand and arrogantly claim 'I am Ravana' or 'You are Rama.' God gave us this opportunity, and the honesty with which Ranbir approached this role is remarkable."

Yash also spoke warmly of Sai Pallavi, who portrays Mata Sita in the film. "Sai Pallavi is always in a state of devotion. Every few minutes on set, you see her remembering Sita Mata. She carries that purity, grace, and reverence naturally, and it shines through in her performance."

Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios alongside Monster Mind Creations and DNEG, Ramayana: Part 1 is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5.
