Actor Sangeetha Bhat has exited Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13 after five weeks in the house due to health concerns. Her exit was not a result of public voting but a decision taken on medical advice. Along with Sangeetha, contestant Manjunath, popularly known as Modern Mahakavi Manja, also left the show unexpectedly.
The season has witnessed several unexpected exits, with multiple contestants leaving the house in consecutive weeks. Prathama Prasad was eliminated in the first week, followed by Om Prakash Rao, who left due to health issues. The second week saw the eviction of Avinash and Vaishnavi, while Likhith Gondi exited in the fourth week.
Sangeetha had undergone major surgery before entering the reality show. She has also experienced emotional trauma during her childhood, which reportedly continues to affect her. Arguments, loud voices and confrontations inside the house triggered anxiety and physical discomfort, including an increased heart rate, nausea and fatigue.
These symptoms reportedly became more difficult to manage as tensions rose among the contestants. During a confrontation between Soundarya Shetty and Manjunath, Sangeetha's health reportedly deteriorated. Following medical advice, she was asked to leave the show and prioritise her well-being.
Although she entered the house determined to continue her journey, Sangeetha was aware that her health might force her to exit.
Speaking about her journey, Sangeetha's husband, Sudarshan, said she had taken up the show as a personal challenge despite her recent surgery.
"She had some difficulties because of the surgery. She challenged herself by agreeing to participate in the show. I am proud of her for playing beyond her limits," he said.
Sangeetha's exit marks another unexpected development in the ongoing season, which has seen contestants leave the house for both eliminations and health-related reasons.
