Prajwal Devaraj, Adah Sharma, Karthik Mahesh's mythological fantasy Ramarasa sets December release date

Directed by BM Giriraj and produced by Guru Deshpande and Vikram Arya, the fantasy entertainer is rooted in folklore and the power of Parashakti

The makers of the Kannada pan-India film Ramarasa have officially locked its worldwide release date. Directed by BM Giriraj, the divine fantasy will hit the big screens on December 11

Produced by Guru Deshpande and Vikram Arya under the banners G Cinemas Production and Seven Star Movies, the project is mounted on a massive canvas. Inspired by traditional folklore, local rituals, and the Dasha Mahavidyas, the story explores the divine play of goddess Parashakti.

Talking about the film and its world, producer and creative head Guru Deshpande said, "Every character in Ramarasa will transport the audience into a completely fresh world. This is not just regular cinema; it is planned as a divine experience for moviegoers."

The film brings together an exciting cast across industries. Prajwal Devaraj features as Guru Siddha, while Bigg Boss Kannada winner Karthik Mahesh plays a key role. Bollywood actor Adah Sharma takes on a strong character, sharing screen space with Hebah Patel. The ensemble also includes Sharan, Komal Kumar, Balaji Manohar, Vaishali, and Aditya as Veera Durmurgi. The team has also teased that surprise appearances by a few more big stars will be revealed soon.

The technical crew features Krishna Kumar (KK) as the cinematographer, with BJ Bharath scoring the tunes. Arjun Kittu is handling the edit, while Hosmane Murthy takes care of art direction. The lyrics are written by Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Nagarjun Sharma, and Puneeth Rangaswamy, with music rights secured by 7 Star Music.

The film is currently in post-production, with Hollywood-level VFX, editing, and sound design works underway in top studios to get the visuals ready for its grand year end release.
