The song recording for the film Dear Husband, starring Suraj Gowda, Sharanya Shetty and Praveen in the lead roles, has been successfully completed. The project is being produced under the banner of G9 Communication and Media and directed by Gururaj Kulkarni (Nadagowda). The film’s first schedule of shooting has already been quietly wrapped up.
A major highlight of the film is its music album. The final and key track has been sung by popular Bollywood singer Nakash Aziz. The recording of the energetic 'tapori-style' song, titled 'Maalashree Sikkalo… Mellane Nakkalo…', was recently completed in a Bengaluru studio under the composition of Veer Samarth. Penned by lyricist Pramod Maravanthe, the song was recorded through the night till early morning, with Nakash reportedly understanding the meaning of the lyrics and singing with great enthusiasm. The team believes this track will emerge as one of the major attractions of the film.
Music director Veer Samarth and lyricist Pramod Maravanthe’s combination has delivered a song that is said to be completely different from their usual style. Set against a Mandya backdrop, the track is expected to be a lively mass number that will get audiences grooving in their seats, said the director.
Sharanya Shetty’s character is also said to have strong prominence in the film.
The suspense crime-thriller also features Praveen and veteran actor Kumar Bangarappa in key roles. The film has dialogues by Raghu Niduvalli, production design by Sampath DR, and editing by BS Kemparaj.
