The makers of Dodmansa have unveiled the film’s romantic duet song, 'Haajari Haaku', and it plays out like a quiet love story drifting through wind, water, and endless white landscapes.
Shot across the stunning salt plains of Gujarat, the song captures two lovers lost in their own world. The crashing water, serene visuals, and the chemistry between Sharat Krishna and Reshma give the track a soft emotional pull.
But Dodmansa is aiming for more than romance. Director Sharat Krishna says the title itself carries emotion and responsibility. Once linked to legendary Kannada icon Vishnuvardhan, reviving the name felt special for the team. At its core, the film speaks about one idea: a person is not Dodmansa because of wealth, but because of the size of their heart.
That spirit extends beyond the film too. The team is organising special screenings for auto drivers across eight districts and has launched an app for the initiative. A lucky draw will also reward one driver with a brand-new auto rickshaw.
Reshma, who plays Sneha, a middle-class girl who falls in love with an auto driver, calls the film a project built on belief and passion. She says the story is about overcoming every obstacle that stands between people and their dreams.
Shilpa Shivakumar, who plays a small but important role, shared a lighter moment from the shoot. After asking the director why she did not have a song, she was told, “You may not have a song, but you do have a fight!”
Producer Vedik Veera says the team’s only goal is to bring meaningful cinema to audiences with sincerity and heart.
The film also stars Bala Rajawadi and Huli Karthik in key roles.
