As Darshan Thoogudeepa, who is dealing with an ongoing legal case, spent his 23rd wedding anniversary inside Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara Central Prison, wife Vijayalakshmi Darshan marked the occasion with a personal visit that quickly drew public attention.

Vijayalakshmi visited the prison on Tuesday afternoon along with their son Vineesh after securing special permission from jail authorities. The meeting, reportedly held under supervision, lasted around 30 minutes. The actor remains in judicial custody in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case.

Hours before the visit, Vijayalakshmi shared a series of personal photographs and messages on Instagram, including one that read, “I will hold your hand through every storm and every silence.” The post circulated widely among fans, with many interpreting it as a show of support during one of the most difficult phases of the actor’s life.

Darshan and Vijayalakshmi were married in 2003 in Dharmasthala and have largely kept their personal life away from the spotlight despite the actor’s enormous screen presence across Karnataka.
