Ramesh Aravind’s Daiji commences post production

Directed by Akash Srivatsa, known for his Shivaji Surathkal films, Daiji is based on real-life incidents from producer Ravi Kashyap

Daiji, the 106th film of Ramesh Aravind, brings together a mix of rooted storytelling and expansive filmmaking. The film also featuring Radhika Narayan, with Diganth in a pivotal role, along with several international actors.

Directed by Akash Srivatsa, known for his Shivaji Surathkal films, Daiji is based on real-life incidents from producer Ravi Kashyap. The story, drawn from personal experiences, is adapted into a screenplay that aims to present a distinct narrative approach while retaining its emotional core.

The film has completed filming, and is currently in post-production, with work underway on VFX and re-recording. The makers are expected to announce the release date once these processes are completed.

Shot across multiple locations, including Bournemouth and Edinburgh in the UK, as well as Varanasi, Sakleshpur, Madikeri, and Bengaluru, Daiji reflects a wide visual scope. The cinematography is handled by Sreesha Kuduvalli, with background score by Judah Sandhy.

Placed as a film with a different stylistic treatment, Daiji looks to combine real-life inspiration with a broader cinematic scale.
