The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have launched the film’s musical campaign with the release of its first single, 'Tabaahi'. This track gives audiences a sneak peek into a soundtrack that is generating strong interest and setting the stage for what could be one of the most ambitious Indian productions on the horizon. Although it was previously confirmed that Zee Music Company acquired the audio rights, the deal's value had not been disclosed. However, industry sources suggest the film secured over ₹40 crore from its music rights alone. This highlights the significant pre-release business the project is generating and places it among the standout audio deals in recent times.

In today's trade environment, music deals are increasingly seen as a sign of a film’s potential reach beyond its local market. Big projects like Pushpa 2: The Rule and Dhurandhar show how strong pre-release music partnerships can enhance visibility across different languages and regions. In this context, Toxic’s large audio deal strengthens its position as a major multilingual contender aiming for broad appeal across markets. The film’s album is being developed by a team of composers. Ravi Basrur is composing a song and managing the background score. Vishal Mishra is creating several tracks, and Tanishk Bagchi is contributing a track with collaborators. This trio approach aims to ensure wider multilingual appeal and support the film’s pan-India positioning.

Headlined by Yash, who has co-written the story with director Geetu Mohandas, the film features a diverse cast. It has also established an extensive distribution network to support its scale. While Sri Venkateswara Creations is handling distribution in the Telugu states, AA Films is releasing it in North India. Think Studios, S Pictures, Trident Arts, and Five Star Senthil have jointly acquired the rights for Tamil Nadu. E4 Entertainment is managing distribution in Kerala, and Phars Film is overseeing the overseas rollout.

Separate arrangements are being discussed with global studios for wider international distribution. This organised rollout ensures a simultaneous presence across major theatrical markets, consistent with the film’s strategy of releasing in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam while also targeting key international markets.

With the first single out and business already making headlines, Toxic is building momentum ahead of its March 19 release. The combination of a strong music deal, wide distribution network, and increasing pre-release interest usually sets the stage for box office performance. The film stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria alongside Yash.
