A group of young talents from the Kannada film industry has come together to raise awareness against corruption, injustice, and social inequality through 'Nammuru Nammavaru', a socially conscious music album. Produced by Aaroha Films in association with Aara Films, the awareness anthem has been backed by advocate and social activist Sandeep Patil from Hangal and was released on June 5.
At a time when corruption and inequality continue to affect ordinary citizens, the team hopes to spark conversations and encourage collective action through music. The album features several familiar faces, including Bhavatheera Yaana actor Tejas Kiran, DKD fame Shashin R, Sri Raghavendra Mahatme actor Bhavani Purohit, and Maggi Pustaka actor Sandeep Rajagopal, along with young actors Sunil, Arun, and Murudayya.
The song has been composed and sung by Mayur Ambekallu, who has previously drawn attention for his work in films such as Shakhahaari, Bhavatheera Yaana, and Pabbar. The lyrics have been penned by Vishak Nagalapura. Tejas Kiran and Mayur Ambekallu have also jointly directed the music video, bringing its message of unity and social responsibility to life through striking visuals.
The technical team includes cinematographer Shivashankar Noorambada, editor and DI artist Anu Ranjan HR, and audiographer Shibin Nadu Veettil. Together, they have helped shape the project into a polished and impactful musical statement.
