A Sharadhaa

At first glance, Nee Nange Allava sounds like a straightforward love story. But according to director Manoj P Nadalumane, the upcoming Kannada film has much more in store. Produced by Jayaram Devasamudra under the Suram Movies banner, the upcoming film stars Rahul Arkat and Kashi Ma in the lead roles and is gearing up for a theatrical release in August. Manoj, who marks his third directorial venture with the upcoming project, reveals that the film is a blend of emotions, drama and entertainment. "The title may suggest a love story, but the film has all the ingredients audiences look for in a complete entertainer," says the director. "We have shot the film across Bengaluru, Mangaluru and Udupi, and every member of the team has played a part in shaping it."

The director is particularly pleased with the performances of Rahul Arkat and Kashi Ma, adding that the film has benefited from a committed cast and crew working towards a common vision. Producer Jayaram Devasamudra says it was the story that convinced him to back the project. "The moment Manoj narrated the script, I knew there was something special about it," he says. "We've received a lot of encouragement since our first production, and we hope audiences will embrace this film in the same way." For Rahul Arkat, who plays a character named Lucky, the project holds a special place. "Lucky is a character I instantly connected with," says the actor. "I'm thankful to the director and producer for giving me this opportunity."

The film also marks the acting debut of Kashi Ma, who plays Khushi. While the newcomer is keeping details about her role under wraps, she describes the film as an important first step in her career. Behind the scenes, Nee Nange Allava boasts a strong technical team, with cinematography by Udayaleela, music by Suraj Joyis and editing by National Award-winning editor Nagendra Ujjani.
