Shiva Rajkumar's 64th birthday hasn't just been a celebration for fans, but it has been turning into a major update day for his much-awaited films. The makers of Bail also made a special announcement earlier this Sunday. Director Pavan Wadeyar's action entertainer, produced by Venkat K Narayana under the KVN Productions banner, unveiled a new poster featuring Shiva Rajkumar in a commanding cop avatar. The production banner shared the poster writing, "Happy Birthday Daredevil," while confirming October 2 as the release date for Bail.

The team had earlier released a teaser that introduced audiences to the film's intense, action-packed world while offering a glimpse of Shivanna in a striking new avatar, complete with a stylish salt-and-pepper makeover. Known for constantly reinventing himself, Shiva Rajkumar sports a rugged yet classy look that has already generated considerable buzz among fans.

Bail, Shivanna's 131st film, sees him playing Viji, with the latest poster further raising anticipation for the character. The film features Sanjana Anand as the female lead alongside Deekshith Shetty in a prominent role. The ensemble cast also includes Sangeetha, Sai Kumar, Jayaram, and Gopal Krishna Deshpande.

The film's technical crew comprises music by B Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematography by Vaidi, production design by Guna, and editing by Shashank Narayan.

Apart from Bail, Shivanna has Survivor, Dad, and 666 Operation Dream Theatre at different stages of production. His upcoming projects across languages include Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth, in which Shiva Rajkumar plays a key role. The film is set to release in October.

He also has Gummadi Narasiah, his next Telugu film, besides an interesting Tamil project directed by debutant Gautham Sivaraman. The film explores an emotional father-son relationship, with Shiva Rajkumar playing the father and Abishan Jeevinth portraying the son.

Interestingly, Bail won't have the Gandhi Jayanti release window to itself. Ganesh's upcoming film Pinaka, whose makers recently announced the same October 2 release date, is also eyeing the festive holiday weekend.

This apart, Shivanna also has a project with R. Chandru. Another film, to be directed by Chethan Kumar, will be produced by Kishore Pathi Konda, who had previously backed Puneeth Rajkumar James. The project is titled MJ Roy.
