Aravind Kaushik brings Upendra and nephew Niranjan Sudhindra together for the first time in Next Level

The Kannada-Telugu bilingual Next Level is produced by Tarun Shivappa and marks the first on-screen collaboration between the actor and his nephew

A Sharadhaa

We had earlier reported that Upendra will star in Next Level, a Kannada-Telugu bilingual directed by Aravind Kaushik. The director has now found an interesting new addition to the cast. Actor Niranjan Sudhindra has come on board the film, setting up the first-ever on-screen collaboration between the Real Star and his nephew.

For Kannada cinema audiences, the pairing carries its own curiosity. While Upendra and Niranjan share a family bond off screen, they had never appeared together in a feature film before. Next Level changes that, adding another point of interest to a project that has been steadily expanding its ensemble.

The makers are yet to reveal details about Niranjan's role, but his inclusion is expected to lend a fresh dynamic to the film. Whether the two actors share significant screen time or cross paths only briefly remains to be seen, leaving audiences to speculate about how Aravind Kaushik has woven their equation into the narrative.

Upendra headlines the film alongside Aradhana Ram, who plays the female lead. Directed by Aravind Kaushik, Next Level is being mounted simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu.

The film is produced by Tarun Shivappa under the Tarun Studios banner. Shivappa's previous productions include Rose, Mass Leader, Victory 2, Khaki, and Choo Mantar.

With Niranjan Sudhindra now joining the cast, Next Level has gained more than just another actor—it has brought together two generations of the same family on screen for the first time, making the collaboration one of the film's most noteworthy talking points.
