Darshan's birthday was celebrated by fans in an enthusiastic manner, even in the absence of the actor. Amongst those celebrating was, actor Tanisha Kuppanda, known for her appearance on Bigg Boss.

She conducted a special pooja and performed an anna santarpane (offering of food) in his name. She inscribed his name on the altar and offered prayers for his early release. Photographs and videos from the occasion have since gone viral. Tanisha, a dedicated admirer of Darshan, shared her wishes on social media following the pooja and food offering.

The celebrations coincided with the re-release of Darshan’s film Kariya. Tanisha, along with Bigg Boss participants Rakshak Bullet, Satish, and others, attended the theater to watch the film and shared videos capturing their experience. Originally released in 2003, Kariya has been re-released twice before, with the third re-release taking place on February 13.

Other celebrities also extended their wishes to Darshan. Actor Rakshita shared a photograph from the previous year, accompanied by birthday greetings, while expressing her heartfelt sentiments on Instagram.
