Actor Dushyanth, who made his debut as a lead with Gatha Vaibhava, which is directed by Simple Suni, is set to enter a new phase in his personal life. The actor recently got engaged in a grand ceremony.

Dushyanth is set to wed Rachana, daughter of former Tumakuru Member of Parliament of Muddahanumegowda. The alliance brings together two prominent political families from the district. Dushyanth’s father, SR Srinivas, is the sitting MLA from the Gubbi constituency. The engagement has thus marked the coming together of two influential families with longstanding public presence.

The wedding is scheduled to be held on February 26 at Chamara Vajra in Bengaluru. A reception and formal feast have been planned for March 1 at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru, where several leaders from political and cultural circles are expected to attend.
