Geetha Pictures’ upcoming film Pabbar, produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar, is a crime-adventure thriller. While the film directed by Sandeep Sunkad stars Dheeren Ramkumar and Amrutha Prem in the lead, it is the striking transformation of Ayyappa P Sharma that is drawing attention.

Ayyappa plays a tough Superintendent of Police in the film. Known for his rugged screen presence and long beard in many of his earlier roles, the actor has undergone a noticeable change for Pabbar. After 14 years, he has opted for a clean shave and a fresh haircut to suit the disciplined and sharp image of his character. The new look presents him in a smart, composed avatar, reflecting the strong and straightforward police officer he portrays.

The makers believe this transformation adds authenticity to the role. Ayyappa’s character is expected to play a crucial part in driving the investigation-based narrative, bringing intensity and authority to the crime thriller forming one of the highlights.

Pabbar takes its title from the river valley near in Himachal Pradesh that forms the core of the story. The location is not just a backdrop but an important element that takes forward the events of the film.

The supporting cast includes Achyuth Kumar, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, veteran actor Ramakrishna, Bharat GB, and Sriharsha Gobhat. With music by Mayur Ambekallu has cinematography by Vishwajit Rao.
