Yash's Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has surpassed one million interests on BookMyShow, just before nationwide bookings begin.

The movie reached this milestone as its August 26 release approaches. BookMyShow users can express their interest in the film, and Toxic has now achieved over one million interests on the platform.

Nationwide bookings will open tomorrow, providing the film its first clear pre-release indicator through advance ticket sales.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features Yash as the lead, along with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. The story is set in Goa and focuses on the criminal underworld.

The film will be released in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. It will also have an IMAX release.

The one-million-interest figure comes after the makers increased promotions with the release of the trailer and songs. The English trailer has attracted attention due to its 18+ viewing restriction on YouTube, while the trailers in other Indian languages do not have this restriction.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is set to release worldwide on August 26. With bookings starting tomorrow, the response from advance sales will provide the first indication of the film's performance across centers.

For Yash, Toxic is his next release after the success of KGF: Chapter 2 and one of his biggest films on the upcoming slate.
