KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations have officially postponed the release of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. Originally set for March 19 and later rescheduled for June 4, 2026, the film's premiere has been pushed back once again. A new worldwide release date will be announced soon.

This decision follows the film’s positive reception at CinemaCon, where it garnered enthusiastic support from international distributors and industry professionals. That response has opened up opportunities for a much broader global release than originally planned, prompting the team to rethink its rollout strategy.

Now that the film is complete, the focus has shifted to securing international distribution and forming key partnerships. The goal is to ensure the film reaches audiences around the world at the scale intended. Yash and Geetu Mohandas co-wrote the project, and Geetu also directs.

In a statement, Yash described Toxic as a deeply personal journey that reminded him why he fell in love with cinema. He noted that the response at CinemaCon strengthened the team’s belief that the film deserves a truly global stage.

While confirming that the June 4 release will not happen, he assured fans that the delay is part of a broader plan to give the film maximum international impact. “Some stories ask for patience,” he said, adding that the team is committed to delivering a film that audiences can celebrate and take pride in.

Yash highlighted the growing global presence of Indian cinema and emphasized the responsibility to raise standards and tell stories that resonate worldwide.

The film boasts a strong ensemble cast, including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.

Toxic was shot in Kannada and English and will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam to reach a wide and diverse audience. The film is now aiming for a large-scale international theatrical release, with the new date expected to be announced soon. According to rumors, an August release might be in the works, and an official announcement is eagerly awaited.
