Calendar, starring Adarsh Gunduraj, which was originally released in Kannada, is now making its way to the Hindi audiences, hitting the theatres on April 24.

Speaking about the film, actor and producer Adarsh Gunduraj says, “Calendar was released in Kannada on April 6. The film was appreciated by both audiences and critics for its women-centric theme and content-driven approach. VK Films (of the Hombale group) had distributed our film in Kannada. Now, the Hindi version is being released in multiplexes across Bengaluru and Mumbai.”

He then adds, “We are also in discussions with OTT platforms and television channels for a wider release. Since the subject of the film is universal and relatable, we believe it will connect with other sets of audiences as well. Preparations are also underway to release the film overseas.” Speaking about the film’s theme, Adarsh notes that it revolves around an experience common to all women, yet one that is rarely explored on screen in mainstream cinema.

Calendar features Nivishka Patil and Sushmita in key roles, with Malashree appearing in a special role. The ensemble cast of the film also includes Ramesh Indira, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Tuminadu, Suchendra Prasad, and Chandraprabha.

On the technical front, Calendar has music composed by Sunad Gowtham and cinematography by Ramesh Koira.
