The muhurat of Rudra Kaala, starring actor Diganth, was held on Wednesday in an auspicious ceremony. Noted filmmaker Yogaraj Bhat officially inaugurated the film by sounding the clapboard for the first shot, while director Raj Guru switched on the camera. Both directors extended their best wishes for the film’s success. The team later addressed the media.

Director Gopi stated that Rudra Kaala marks his fourth directorial venture, having previously directed two Telugu films and one Kannada film. The upcoming project will be made in both Kannada and Telugu. He described it as a crime thriller blended with strong family emotions. The film’s title was recently unveiled by noted actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The story is written by his brother Ramesh. Gopi added that Diganth will be seen in a completely new role, unlike anything he has done before.

Hebah Patel, known for Adyaksha, returns to Kannada cinema with this film after many years. The cast also includes Vamshi and Govinde Gowda. The film features cinematography by Christopher Joseph, choreography by Rudra Master, and action direction by Channayya.

It is produced by Ramesh Nayak, with Ranjitha Naveen as co-producer. Shooting is set to begin in Bengaluru in May. Gopi also thanked Yogaraj Bhat and Raj Guru for inaugurating the project.

Diganth shared that although he had signed two films last year, they are yet to begin due to the current situation in the industry. He appreciated producer Ramesh Nayak for taking the initiative to start Rudra Kaala. Calling it a crime thriller with a strong family backdrop, he said he was impressed with the story when Gopi narrated it and is excited to take on a role he has never attempted before. He also expressed happiness that Yogaraj Bhat launched the film.

Hebah Patel mentioned that she is returning to Kannada cinema after a decade since Adyaksha, and hopes the audience will extend the same love and support to this film as well.

Producer Ramesh Nayak said he liked the story narrated by Gopi and felt Diganth was the perfect choice for the lead role. He thanked the guests and the team for attending the launch. Co-producer Ranjitha Naveen requested continued support from audiences.

Writer Ramesh also shared insights about the story. Executive producer Shivaraj, actors Vamshi and Govinde Gowda, cinematographer Christopher Joseph, and stunt director Channayya were among those present at the press meet.
