Diganth to lead Rudra Kaala; Samantha unveils title

Actor Diganth's next, which is titled Rudra Kaala, has officially been launched. The title was revealed by actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who extended her best wishes to the team.

Diganth is currently part of Maa Inti Bangaram, a female-led action-family drama directed by Nandini Reddy and headlined by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film marks Samantha’s return to Telugu cinema in a full-fledged lead role and is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 15.

As for Rudra Kaala, Diganth takes on the lead role in this new project, which is being produced by Ramesh Naik and directed by Gopi, and the film’s muhurat is scheduled to take place on April 22.

Speaking about the project, Diganth said he came on board after hearing the narration from director Gopi. He also shared his happiness that Samantha unveiled the title of Rudra Kaala, calling it a positive beginning for the film. The actor said he looks forward to the film connecting with audiences and extended his best wishes to the director, producer, and the team.

Director Gopi expressed appreciation to Samantha for unveiling the title and said it gave the project a strong start. He added that Rudra Kaala will be shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu, completed in a single schedule, and released at the earliest. This marks his fourth directorial venture.

Producer Ramesh Naik said the script felt fresh when he first heard it and noted his satisfaction in backing the project under his banner. He also expressed thanks to Samantha for the title launch, and Diganth joining the film.

The story is written by Ramesh Naik. Cinematography is by Christopher Joseph. Naveen is the line producer and Shivraj is the executive producer. Ramesh K Poojari is the associate director.
