Maadeva, the action-drama directed by Naveen Reddy B and starring Vinod Prabhakar and Sonal Monteiro, is now streaming on Prime Video. Set against the backdrop of 1980s, the film takes us into the life of Maadeva (Vinod Prabhakar), a stoic and emotionally detached hangman whose existence is defined by death. His routine is disrupted when Parvathi (Sonal Monteiro), a compassionate woman seeking help for her imprisoned mother, enters his life.

The film marks Vinod Prabhakar’s departure from his usual action-hero roles, offering a nuanced portrayal of a man grappling with his humanity. Its exploration of themes such as trauma, redemption, and the human capacity for change has resonated with audiences and critics alike.

Produced by R Keshava under the Radhakrishna Pictures banner, Maadeva features cinematography by Balakrishna Thota and music by Praddyottan. The ensemble cast also includes Srinagar Kitty, Shruti, and Achyuth Kumar, among others.
