Just seven days remain for one of Kannada cinema’s most talked-about releases of the year. After three years of tireless work, ‘Divine Star’ Rishab Shetty is ready to unveil Kantara: Chapter 1, produced by Vijay Kiragandur's Hombale Films on October 2, rolling out across nearly 7,000 screens worldwide.

In the final stretch, the actor-director has blended faith with film. Along with his wife Pragathi Shetty, he visited the revered Kollur Mookambika Temple, recently, seeking blessings ahead of the big day. A known devotee, Rishab has often turned to the goddess before milestones in his career. This visit, however, carries the weight of nationwide curiosity.

Promotions are moving at a brisk pace. After Bengaluru and Kochi, the team heads to Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. On September 28, Hyderabad will host the grand pre-release event, with Telugu superstar Jr NTR expected to join Rishab on stage, adding further star power to the campaign.

Kantara: Chapter 1 has already become a conversation-starter across the country. Fans are counting down the days, eager to see how Rishab expands the universe he created in the first film.

Adding a personal touch is Pragathi Shetty, who has worked as the costume designer for the film, ensuring every frame reflects authenticity rooted in tradition.

With the clock ticking, faith has been sought, the buzz is mounting, and expectations are soaring as Rishab Shetty’s vision finally readies to meet its audience.
