Team Koragajja joined veteran actor Shruti to celebrate her 50th birthday in style. Shruti, essaying the pivotal role of Bairakke—Koragajja’s foster mother—has already been lauded by insiders for what many are calling a “once-in-a-lifetime performance.”

Director Sudheer Attavar, leading lady Bhavya, producer Trivikram Sapalya, and executive producer/editor Vidyadhar Shetty were on hand to shower Shruti with mementoes and flowers, making the celebration feel like both a milestone and a mini-film premiere.

Speaking on the sidelines, the team addressed the delays that have kept audiences waiting. “The hold-up was all about perfecting the VFX and graphics—a meticulous ₹2 crore effort that’s now complete. The film is ready to roll,” they confirmed.

Shruti’s Bairakke is central to the story, with the climax sequence reportedly shot four times to capture the emotional depth of her character. Sharing the screen are Hollywood legend Kabir Bedi, Bhavya, Bollywood choreographers Sandeep Soparrkar and Ganesh Acharya, actress Shubha Poonja, and fresh Kannada talent Hrithik.

Produced under Trivikram Cinemas and Success Films, Koragajja features music and visuals by Gopi Sundar, complemented by the acclaimed Malayalam cinematographer Manoj Pillai.
