Yash’s much-anticipated film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups has closed the curtains on its most demanding stretch yet — a 45-day action-heavy schedule across Mumbai. Mounted on an unprecedented scale, the leg was steered by Hollywood stunt veteran JJ Perry (John Wick, Fast and Furious 9) and is being described by insiders as “one of the most ambitious action blocks ever staged in Indian cinema.”

“The Mumbai schedule was the toughest and the most elaborate. What Geetu Mohandas and JJ Perry pulled off with Yash at the center is nothing short of extraordinary,” a source close to the production told Cinema Express. “It pushed every department to its limits, but the results will redefine how action is mounted in Indian films.”

With the bulk of principal photography now completed, the production is set to return to Bengaluru — where the film began its journey — for its final leg at the end of September. The last phase will cover a handful of key sequences, effectively taking Toxic into post-production.

Yash, meanwhile, is expected to fly to London for a series of high-level meetings aimed at securing international partnerships for the project.

Billed as a genre-bending blend of raw spectacle and emotional storytelling, Toxic unites Yash’s star power with Geetu Mohandas’ distinctive narrative voice and Perry’s global action sensibilities. Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, the film is positioned to travel far beyond domestic markets, with dubbed versions also planned in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

Backed by KVN Productions in association with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is locked for a worldwide release on March 19, 2026.
