While Kantara: Chapter 1 is enjoying a phenomenal run at the box office, Rishab Shetty recently revealed details about his next big project, Jai Hanuman. During his visit to Mysuru, where he offered prayers at the Chamundeshwari Temple, before discussing his plans with the media.

The actor and director confirmed that Prasanth Varma will direct the upcoming film and Mythri Movie Makers will produce it. “Yes, my next film is Jai Hanuman. It’s currently the only project I’m working on,” Rishab stated, making it clear that Kantara: Chapter 2 is not in immediate consideration.

Jai Hanuman will be shot in Telugu, and Rishab will play the role of Lord Hanuman. “This story is very close to my heart. I have great faith in the divine, and this film reflects that belief,” he said. He added that every step of his creative journey is guided by devotion and discipline.

While Kantara: Chapter 1 was based in folklore, exploring the sacred bond between humans, nature, and divinity, Rishab’s upcoming project is set to broaden that connection to a larger mythological story. With Jai Hanuman, he aims to explore new creative opportunities while deepening his spiritual link to storytelling.
