A Sharadhaa

Rippan Swamy, which received a positive response on its theatrical release on August 29, now gets to digital, and is available for streaming on Prime Video. The film is especially notable for Vijay Raghavendra's role, which is a departure from his previous work. It explores how early-life experiences and personal relationships can shape a person’s mindset in adulthood, raising questions about human emotions and choices—how one navigates love, anger, forgiveness, and resentment.

Written and directed by Kishore Moodabidri, the story focuses on the emotional and psychological layers of the characters. Vijay Raghavendra portrays Swami with sensitivity, revealing multiple facets of the character as he encounters complex personal situations. He is paired with Ashwini, who plays the female lead. The supporting cast features an impressive line-up, including Prakash Thuminad, Vajradeer Jain, Yamuna Srinidhi, Mohan Sheni, and Krishnamurthy Kavattar.

Produced under the banner of Panchanana Films, the film features music composed by Malayalam director Samuel Aby. Cinematography by Ranganath CM captures the natural beauty of Malenadu, making the landscapes an integral part of the storytelling. The visuals are immersive, allowing the audience to connect with both the setting and the characters. The film is edited by Shashank Narayan.

Now streaming on Prime Video, Rippan Swamy is accessible to viewers who may have missed it in theaters, giving a wider audience the chance to experience the film at their convenience.
