Time Pass, directed by K Chetan Jodidar, is set to release on October 17, and its trailer has just been unveiled, offering intriguing hints about the story. The film explores the highs and lows of those chasing their dreams in cinema, while cleverly embedding a movie-within-the-movie narrative designed to keep viewers engaged.
Speaking about the release, Jodidar said, “With Kantara: Chapter 1 doing exceptionally well at the box office, I hope audiences will give the same love and support to Time Pass.” Drawing from his own life experiences, the director adds a personal touch to the story, making it relatable and authentic.
This marks Chetan Jodidar’s debut as a filmmaker. Unlike most first-time directors, he did not train under anyone but instead learned the craft through YouTube tutorials, turning his dream into reality with Time Pass. “I am confident audiences will enjoy this journey,” he said.
Produced by MH Krishnamurthy, Kiran Kumar Shetty, and Gundoor Shekhar under the Sri Chetan Services banner, the film belongs to the dark comedy genre. The cast includes Imran Pasha, Vaisiri K Gowda, Ratsharam, K Chetan Jodidar, Om Sri Yakshashif, Prabhakar Rao, Naveen Kumar, Sampath Kumar, and Ashwini Srinivas in key roles.
The technical team adds depth to the film’s presentation: Girish Gowda choreographed the stunts, Vaishnavi Satyanarayan handled dance sequences, Rajeev Ganesh captured the visuals, Hari Param oversaw editing, and DM Uday Kumar (DK) composed the music. Production supervision was managed by D Shamasundar and BK Dayananda, with publicity design by Mani.
