Ajaneesh Loknath pens note on Mangalavaaram two years after release

Ajaneesh Loknath's background score for the film gained widespread acclaimation, with 'Truth on the Wall' being heavily appreciated

Ajaneesh Loknath's latest release, Kantara: Chapter 1, has been one of the biggest releases in his career. His score was also well received, continuing the acclaim he has been recieving.

But between the releases of Kantara: Chapter 1 and Kantara (2022), he had a Telugu language film, Mangalavaaram. The score for it was also well received with 'Truth on the Wall' being heavily appreciated.

Now the composer took to X on the two year anniversary of the film's release.

The composer wrote, "2 years it is, Mangalavaaram will always hold a special corner in my heart!"

He added, "It wasn’t easy, it demanded everything. But somewhere between the madness, the silence, and the screams, there was something wonderful."

Ajaneesh concluded the note by saying, "Grateful to everyone who was part of this journey!"

Ajay Bhupati wrote and directed Mangalavaaram, which features Payal Rajput, Nanditha Swetha, and Priyadarshi Pullikonda in the lead. The film was a psychological thriller which follows some mysteries in a small town, in 1986.
