Pran Suvarna turns director with Rukmini Radha Krishna

The subject draws mythological inspiration from the famous love triangle involving Shri Krishna, Radha, and Rukmini

With 14 years of experience in the film industry as an assistant director and writer, Pran Suvarna makes his directorial debut with Rukmini Radha Krishna. Bharat Kumar, Mokshith Pai and Riya Sachdev play the leads in the film.

The film's muhurat recently took place, and the team shared that Rukmini Radha Krishna draws inspiration from the famous love triangle involving Sri Krishna, Radha, and Rukmini. Pran Suvarna has reimagined this classic story as a modern triangular love story. It delves into complex relationships, emotions, and dilemmas relevant to today’s world. The director emphasises that the film also combines passion, emotion, and the difficulties of love into an engaging narrative.

The filming is scheduled for 60 days, and will be initially shot in and around Bengaluru.The second phase of filming will happen in the beautiful locales of Kumbakonam. The makers aim to give a heady mix of urban and rural visuals through these settings.

The film is presented by Shilpa Srinivas and produced by N Hanumantharaju and NH Umesh Chand under Pen Drive Films. Rukmini Radha Krishna will feature six songs composed by Sunad Gautam. Pran Suvarna has taken on multiple roles for the project, writing the story and screenplay while also choreographing the action scenes. Sunil Narasimhamurthy is in charge of cinematography, and M Lakshman Rao will handle the editing.
