Firefly, the debut offering from Niveditha Shivarajkumar under the Shri Mutthu Cine Services banner, is gearing up to light up the silver screen on April 24. The film’s release is especially significant as it coincides with the birth anniversary of the legendary Dr Rajkumar.

The film, whose teaser has captivated audiences, stars Vamshi in the lead role, and he also takes on the role of the director. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Achyuth Kumar, Sudharani, Rachana Inder, Sheetal Shetty, Anand Ninasam, Chitkala Biradar, and Moogu Suresh in prominent roles.

Speaking about the film's core elements, Dr Shivarajkumar stated, "Firefly delves into the themes of grief and healing, with a narrative that strikes a balance between depth and simplicity. I am confident it will resonate with everyone."

On the significance of its release, Shivarajkumar shared, “It’s a deeply special moment for me to see my daughter’s first film come out on Appaji’s birthday. The love our family has received over the years is a gift from Appaji, and it is heartening to see that warmth passed on to the next generation. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the fans and Kannada cinema enthusiasts for their unwavering support.”

The film’s music is composed by Charan Raj, and its first single is slated for release on Anand Audio’s YouTube channel in the final week of March. The film's crew includes cinematographer Abhilash Kalathi, dialogue writer Raghu Niduvalli, editor Suresh Armugam, art director Varadaraj Kamath, action choreographer Arjun Raj, and dance choreographer Rahul Master.

A family-oriented entertainer, the film's makers are confident that it will strike a chord with viewers of all ages.
