The newly released Kannada lyrical song, 'Mangalyam Tantunanena' from Just Married brings back the essence of wedding celebrations with a fresh yet rooted approach. Written by Nagendra Prasad, composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath, and rendered soulfully by Sanjith Hegde, the track captures the many shades of marriage—joy, hesitation, nostalgia, and new beginnings.
Unlike songs created for viral trends, Just Married is crafted with the intention of finding space in real-life moments. The makers have set their sights on wedding playlists and family gatherings, believing the song will strike a chord with audiences who long for authenticity over digital noise.
Featuring Shine Shetty and Ankita Amar, the lyrical video paints a gentle portrait of a newlywed couple navigating the early days of togetherness. Their chemistry is subtle, supported by warm visuals, thoughtfully designed costumes, and the grace of veteran actors in the backdrop.
Just Married receiving an U/A certifacate, is looking for the film's release soon.
Listeners have likened the song to the golden era of Kannada wedding melodies once immortalised by Dr Rajkumar. Still, Just Married carries its own signature. Ajaneesh’s arrangement blends a modern soundscape with folk influences, keeping the emotional thread intact.
With its celebratory tone and lyrical depth, this track hopes to reclaim that lost space and add colour to the ceremonies that define life’s big moments.
In essence, Just Married mirrors what weddings feel like—intimate, unpredictable, and beautifully real. It celebrates love not as a fantasy, but as a quiet bond unfolding in everyday gestures.
Directed and co-produced by CR Bobby along with Ajaneesh Loknath under the ABBS Studios banner, Just Married stars Shine Shetty of Bigg Boss Kannada fame, and Ankita Amar in the lead roles, and features an ensemble cast, including Devaraj, Achyuth Kumar, Malavika Avinash, Shruti Hariharan, and several others.
The film’s screenplay has been written by Dhananjay Ranjan, with dialogues by Raghu Niduvalli. The technical team includes cinematographer PG, editors Srikanth and Ashik Kusugolli, and action choreographer Vikram Mor.
