Darshan’s latest film The Devil has stirred excitement among fans across Karnataka. Now, actor–director Dinakar Thoogudeepa has shared his thoughts on the film, his brother’s performance, and the craft that has gone into making this mass entertainer.

Directed by Prakash Veer, The Devil features Darshan in two contrasting roles, Krishna and Devil. Speaking about the experience of watching the film, Dinakar said, “The Devil character impressed me more than Krishna. Darshan has acted superbly in both roles. Fans are celebrating him, and their love is what truly drives the film. Fourteen years ago, when Sarathi released, I was anxious, but now the fans themselves are carrying the film forward.”

The film also stars Rachana Rai as the female lead, along with Sharmiela Mandre, and includes Mahesh Manjrekar, Achyuth Kumar, Huli Karthik, Gilli Nata, among others.

On the technical side, The Devil has Sudhakar S Raj's cinematography, an music scored by B Ajaneesh Loknath.

Dinakar also addressed the ongoing chatter about Darshan’s political debut. “Any political decision will be made by the fans. There hasn’t been any offer or pressure on him yet,” he says.
