Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi calls The Devil 'a celebration of cinema'

Darshan’s new movie, The Devil, has been getting positive reactions on its first day. The mass entertainer, featuring Darshan and Rachana Rai, is filling theaters across the state.

The buzz around the film touched those closest to the actor. Darshan’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, attended the early morning 6:30 am show with their son Vineesh and actor Dhanveer. They enjoyed the film alongside fans. After watching, Vijayalakshmi called the movie 'beyond words' and praised Darshan’s versatility, sense of humor, and strong screen presence as 'magical'.

“Seeing Darshan handle two different roles with such grace was unforgettable. What moved me the most was the energy, cheers, and love from fans. Every bit of this affection will reach him, and I hope he feels it soon," she says.

Vijayalakshmi praised director Prakash’s careful vision, storytelling skills, and control over every scene. She noted that the film is more than just a story—it celebrates cinema. The cinematography and technical work create a visual treat, improving the immersive experience from beginning to end.
