Chowkidar jolly song out, Pruthvi Ambaar and Sai Kumar groove to 'Oh My Bro'

Rathavara-fame director Chandrashekhar Bandiappa’s latest film drops a peppy father-son dance track that’s winning hearts

A Sharadhaa

Rathavara-fame director Chandrashekhar Bandiappa is back with his new film Chowkidar. After a teaser and earlier songs that received an enthusiastic response, the team has now released another crowd-pleaser — a jolly, foot-tapping track titled 'Oh My Bro'.

The song features the hero, played by Dia actor Pruthvi Ambaar, dancing to its catchy hook, and what makes it special is the on-screen father joining the fun. Veteran actor Sai Kumar, celebrating 50 years in cinema, matches steps with his reel son, creating a vibrant father-son dance jugalbandi that’s become the talk of the town. Choreographed by Murali Master, the track blends energy, charm, and infectious beats.

Sai Kumar’s effortless screen presence adds weight to the sequence, making it more than just a dance number. Penned by V Nagendra Prasad, sung by Kailash Kher, and has Sachin Basrur’s composition

Chowkidar pairs Pruthvi Ambar with Dhanya Ramkumar as the female lead, with Shwetha of Premanjali fame, Sai Kumar, and Sudharani playing key roles. Sudharani will be seen in a police officer’s role.

Produced by Kallahalli Chandrashekhar and co-produced by Vidyadevi, the film features music by Sachin Basrur, cinematography by Siddu Kanchanhalli, and lyrics by V Nagendra Prasad, Pramod Maravante, and Santosh Nayak. Chowkidar is gearing up for a multi-language release.
