ZEE5 steps into the world of Kannada originals with its first-ever mini-series, Ayyana Mane, billed as a haunting blend of crime, suspense, and the supernatural. Directed by the acclaimed Ramesh Indira and produced by Shruthi Naidu Productions, Ayyana Mane features Kushee Ravi, Akshya Nayak, and Manasi Sudheer. The plot follows newlywed Jaji, who walks into her husband’s ancestral home and straight into the heart of a decades-old mystery. As per the official description, set in the atmospheric 1990s, the series peels back layers of family secrets, unexplained deaths, and unsettling rituals. Is it a curse? Or something more chillingly human? In the hills of Chikamagalur, three daughters-in-law have died under strange circumstances—all tied to the ominous family deity, Kondayya. As Jaji begins to investigate—with only the loyal maid Taayavva and determined cop Mahanthesh by her side—she’s drawn deeper into a tangled web of fear, faith, and fate. The truth? It might not set her free—it might bury her.

Ayyana Mane is a deep dive into Kannada culture’s storytelling richness,” says a ZEE5 spokesperson. Director Ramesh Indira adds, “This series isn’t just about fear—it’s about the stories families don’t tell. The ones that live in the walls.”

Ayyana Mane will stream exclusively on ZEE5 from April 25.
