She took her last breath at Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru, leaving her family and loved ones in deep sorrow. After her passing, Saroja’s mortal remains were taken to their home in JP Nagar for final viewing. Many prominent figures from the film industry, political leaders, and devoted fans gathered to pay their respects. Later that evening, the final ceremony was held at the Wilson Garden crematorium, where Sudeep was visibly emotional, reflecting the heavy weight of his loss.
