Satyam centered around deity Panjurli certified with a U/A

Santosh Balraj's upcoming film Satyam, directed by Ashoka Kadaba and also starring Ranjani Raghavan, has successfully cleared the censorship formalities and received a U/A certification. This film is centered around the deity Panjurli, well known in the Tulu Nadu Region, and is ready for release in both Kannada and Telugu languages.


The team is now preparing for the release, with distribution handled by KA Suresh. Ashoka Kadaba, known for his directorial debut Enanthiya and films like My Name is Kalam and Mythili, describes Sathyam as a content-rich story with commercial appeal. Its ensemble cast includes actors such as Suman, Sayaji Shinde, Pavithra Lokesh, Avinash, and Mukhyamantri Chandra in significant roles.


With music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Cinetek Suri, Sathyam tells the tale of two generations in a traditional family setting, with a focus on the bond between a grandfather and his grandson. The film incorporates elements of war and unfolds as the family patriarch returns to the village after four decades, revealing the events that transpired.


Mahantesh VK is the producer of the film.
